Patti is passionate about and committed to helping organizations realize the vision of a workplace where employees are inspired to innovate, where leaders make courageous decisions and create a sense a deep trust, and where colleagues are aligned and profoundly connected. Patti is the best-selling, award-winning author of “The Drama-Free Workplace” (Wiley 2019) and uses the concepts from her book to lead interactive, action-oriented workshops, provide consulting services, and deliver keynote addresses. Her nearly 30-year career includes working as a California employment attorney, a workplace sleuth (conducting in excess of 1200 workplace investigations), a Governor-appointed state regulator, an expert witness, an HR professional, a tech company executive and an entrepreneur.
My philosophy is that life is worth guzzling, not just drinking. Outside of work, my first and foremost passion is spending time with my Big Fat Salvadoran family. My husband, Tom, and I spend most of our energy cheering for our kids – Tony, a sophomore at the University of Notre Dame studying Neuroscience and Behavior; Christina, an athletic trainer who is passionate about taking care of her athletes; and Nick, a performer who is pursuing his dream to be an improv star.
